The above fans are derived from the best of the engineering capabilities; the impellers of the above centrifugal fans are designed to handle most of the physical compounds, which is a major marvel in the line of the pneumatic conveying. Precision designs of these impellers whose sizes range from 100 to 1600, the above fans are designed for the air capacities of 150 m3/Hr 2,00,000 m3/Hr & handle pressure ranges from 150 mm 1200 mm WG @ 1.2 Kg/m3.
Product Construction
These fans consist of the housing made out of sheet steel & completely welded construction, with a circular inlet & rectangular outlet. The bigger sizes the housing is of horizontal split type to provide easier access to the impeller. The housing is supplied in eight different directions of discharge.
The pedestal is also of sheet steel & supplied as a part of the blower. This supports the housing & also the motor in the case of direct driven blowers, & extended shaft & plumber block units in the case of belt driven blowers.
The Impellers are multi - bladed & constructed for smooth vibration free running. All impellers are dynamically balanced; there are three types of wheels to suit different pressure ranges & applications. They are back ward inclined, backward curved & straight-T.
Type of Arrangement:
Arrangement: 1
The impeller is directly mounted on the motor shaft. This arrangement is convenient when the speed of the blowers corresponds to the motor speed. The motors to be used are horizontal foot mounted type, suitable for the blowers up to the size 600 mm
Arrangement: 2
The impeller is mounted on the shaft supported by two ball roller bearings enclosed in a plumber block housing, placed on a pedestal. This arrangement is preferred where the motor speed does not permit direct drive or for a desired speed of the impeller. The Shaft is extended on one side to receive a pulley. Blowers of size 700 mm & above are supplied with split type housing.
Arrangement: 3
This arrangement is a combination of both arrangement 1 &2. Here, the blower is supplied with an extended pedestal to accommodate both the bearing assembly unit & the ac motor. The wheel is mounted on a shaft supported by bearings on the sides & coupled directly to the ac motor through a suitable coupling. This arrangement is suitable when the blower is required to run at rated speed & at the same time keeping the motor away from the air stream. Inspection / maintenance of the motor is easy in this arrangements.
Bearings
All standard services blowers suitable for arrangement 2 & arrangement 3 are supplied with grease lubricated heavy duty ball / roller bearings. Blowers with cooling disc are supplied with heavy duty temperature ball bearings.
Special Constructions
These industrial blowers can be manufactured in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum. When required to exhaust corrosive fumes coating with special corrosive resistant finishes or induced lining can also be offered on request.
